Botany Bay Marine Service Pty Ltd was established in 1980 by owner and director Steven Smith.

Located in Caringbah in Sydney's south, this makes Botany Bay Marine Service centrally located to service the Sydney metro area as well as the south and north coasts of New South Wales.

Botany Bay Marine Service is a family owned and run business, with son Brett joining the business in 1997.

With 45 years experience between Steven and Brett there is nothing Botany Bay Marine Service can't handle.

Botany Bay Marine Service has been a Volvo Penta dealer for 30 years and a Kohler Marine Gensets dealer for 8 years in servicing the Sydney area.

Botany Bay Marine Service was the first Volvo Penta dealer in the world to design and engineer the entire installation program of the 4 Volvo Penta Diesel Engines and Duo Prop Stern-drives to a multi hull boat, fitting 2 engines and drives per hull in a Bloomfield 60 Power cat in 1985 at Nowra NSW, with full support from Volvo Penta Sweden.

Steven is a fully qualified Marine Engineer and Brett is a fully Qualified marine mechanic with 15 years experience, both are factory trained by Volvo Penta and Kohler Marine Generators including the New IPS drive system from Volvo Penta.
